Links

Apart from growing straw for straw work there are other things that interest me. The links on this page are my other interests.

- I am an Aberdeen Angus cattle breeder and this is the Aberdeen Angus Society website.

-Staffordshire Open Studios was created to highlight the "wealth of creative talent" that exists in Staffordshire. It holds numerous open days and provides a directory of local artists.

- WIRE (Women In Rural Enterprise) is an organisation that provides business services and support to women who have enterprises in rural areas.

- WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) provided me with a list of Member farms whilst travelling in New Zealand. You can live and work on a member farm. You have to join the Member Countries organisation and they send you a list of member farms. It is then up to you to contact the farm you are interested in and check that the work and length of your stay is what you had in mind. .

- Something Corny is run by Elaine Lindsay. Elaine is a fellow Straw Craftsmen Guild member from Scotland. She also does workshops and sells straw work.

- The Guild of Straw Craftsmen

- Cumbrian Country Crafts

I will add more links when I can so pop back every now and again.
